Paella Catering In Numbers!
Hola! Welcome to the first blog post on our new website!
After a crazy and super-busy summer here at Paella Fella, we thought we would put together some fun stats on just some of the ingredients we have used to create fabulous paella and tapas parties for our lovely customers.
From our premises in Turners Hill, West Sussex, we have catered for all manner of events. Typically 5 or 6 events each and every weekend all through the summer, across the whole of the South East of England.
Are you ready? Here goes!
Rolled 10,000 croquetas
Made 600 empanadas
Rolled 3,000 meatballs
Baked and chopped 3,000 cubes of tortilla using at least 750 eggs
Used over 1,000 kilos of proper paella rice
Filled 12,000 palm leaf bowls…at least!
Chopped over 100 kilos of cod fish fillet
Fried 400 kilos of prawns… that’s not counting the Gambas Pil Pil!
Packed 600 equipment boxes and at least 250 cool boxes
Cooked over 750 kilos of chicken and at least 150 kilos of chorizo!
Served some 20 kilos of Serrano / Iberico ham!
Got through 280 litres of oil – at least
…And flavoured with some 450 sprigs of rosemary
